His condition could still improve, but the team described his status as "best case, 50-50".
If Wallace can't play, Anderson Varejao will start alongside Zydrunas Ilgauskas, leaving few frontcourt options off the bench. Joe Smith should play increased minutes, but the Cavaliers don't have anybody capable of replacing Wallace's physical defense and rebounding.
