The most popular topic of conversation among the Munchkin Man's schoolmates was the Presidential election between Richard M. Nixon and John F. Kennedy.

Many of the Munchkin Man's schoolmates were spreading a belief that Richard Nixon was an awful and horrible man.

Richard Nixon was so awful, they claimed, that he was going to make kids go to school on Saturdays if he was elected.

This was the first time the Munchkin Man had ever heard this before.

The Munchkin Man was appalled.

As a result, the Munchkin Man also adopted the belief that Richard Nixon was an awful and horrible man.

Years later, the Munchkin Man grew out of his childlike belief about Richard Nixon.

For the Munchkin Man came to the realization that Richard Nixon was a great man.

The Munchkin Man grew up.

Why is the Munchkin Man telling you this story?

The Munchkin Man is telling you this story because there are a number of posters on this board who remind the Munchkin Man of these children at his 5th grade school.

The Munchkin Man is referring to those posters who spew their irrational hatred for President George W. Bush on a regular basis.

Unlike the Munchkin Man, they never completely grew up.

Their bodies have grown.

Their minds were left behind.

Now the Munchkin Man understands the wisdom behind the No Child Left Behind Act.

The mind of a child is a terrible thing to waste and leave behind.

This board is living proof of this human tragedy.

The Munchkin Man will now close with a prayer:
