The glory days were when I was able to walk into one of the many local bookie joints in the Mahoning Valley and place a bet. Ahhh, there was nothing like it. At one time, there seemed to be a bookie on every corner.
As for the "good old days" of internet gambling, I personally enjoy / am much more comfortable with gambling online today than I ever was. With the exception of the loss of neteller, things are better today. Things are much more stable, as a lot of the fly-by-nights have been weeded out. After 10 years or so, we kind of know which books are reliable / here to stay, and which are not. As far as sending and receiving funds......the los of neteller took away a great convenience, however there are other options out there that are pretty close when it comes to neteller's ease and speediness.
All in all, I'm pretty content with how things now stand. |
