Willie Parker realizes that his workload will be heavily reduced this season following the Steelers' addition of Rashard Mendenhall.

Parker admits he was "surprised" when the Steelers chose Mendenhall 23rd overall, but can "understand." Parker hopes fewer carries will lengthen his career. Still, don't expect FWP to catch passes or score frequently this year. Jul. 15
