 Evan Scribner - RP - Padres |  | | Padres acquired RHP Evan Scribner from the Diamondbacks for first baseman Tony Clark. | | Scribner should be doing cartwheels right now. The 22-year-old right-hander had a 1.64 ERA and a .177 average against for low Single-A South Bend and Single-A Visalia this year, but as an extreme flyball pitcher, he was a pretty poor bet to help the Diamondbacks. Now that he's a Padre, he has a real chance of contributing as a major league reliever. He'll likely head to Single-A Lake Elsinore for now.
