 Ryan Tucker - SP - Marlins |  | | Marlins optioned RHP Ryan Tucker to Double-A Carolina. | | Tucker spent six weeks with the Marlins during his first taste of the big leagues, posting an 8.39 ERA in 34 1/3 innings split between the rotation and bullpen. He remains a good long-term bet, but the 21-year-old struggled to throw strikes and had trouble keeping the ball in the ballpark. Justin Miller is expected to replace him on the roster prior to Thursday's game.
