you can get a pretty good computer now for under $1k. Of course this depends on what you plan to use it for. Guessing you're either a gamer...am i close?
For under $400 you can get a decent computer if you're just using it for checking email or surfing the net. You don't need a really good computer if it's just for that. All you need is something that will run and is reliable (which means no Compaq, HP, GQ, etc.).
What i've notice that has really good deals for the price are Dell computers. There have been many sales lately (involving coupons sometimes) for nice computers. I got my cousin one for about $350 and she loves it. Just uses it for checking her email, chatting, and surfing the net.
Anyways, if you want me to help u look for a cheap(but good) computer, let me know and i'll keep an eye out for the next deal that comes around.
Ok, i've said too much now so i'll stop.
BOL today...if we sweep i'll definately donate $5 (or even more) to your computer funds.
