I am glad to hear it, although I am hoping that I know enough to know where to go and where to stay away from.
But as I alluded to in another post. You are a lot like the new books that open up with questionable reputations. You need to prove that your past indiscretions are truly in the past, and not simply lip service to try and win over more adoring fans.
There is a lot in the past, known and unknown that isn't all flowers and butterflies. You know that better than anyone I am sure. So until a few tests are passed some judgement has to be reserved for sure.
But you can take the example of some of these books you have aspired to have here. Some of them as well have overcome some questionable and agenda driven problems, and they came out OK. THAT is why they are where they are, they passed a few tests and had the test of time. Take that example and I am sure if you can hold the line it might prove some people wrong, and maybe get them to changetheir views.
