I surely remember when I had my car stolen, didn't recall it was the first night of my gig at the RX but the timing sounds about right. As for the game, yes I recall that vividly too. I capped the game out and expected a late game special teams miracle, I was just acting pissed earlier to build some drama for the sure to come late game heroics. That's my story and I am sticking to it.
