The Giants' local papers usually expect Burress to play on Sundays despite sitting out practice during the week, but that's changed now due to the added knee ailment. Plax was taken to the city Wednesday to have the injuries looked at by doctors. At best, it appears he'll be a game-day decision against the Bears, as there's virtually no chance of him practicing this week.
