A high-class Chilean prostitute was so touched by a charity telethon's bid to raise money for handicapped children that she has stepped forward with her own contribution: 27 hours of sex.
That's how much paid sex work the escort, Maria Carolina, wants to contribute to the Teleton.
Carolina says the 5,400 dollars she earns from the marathon sessions, scheduled for November 30-December 1, will go to the charity, explaining she earns 300 dollars per 90-minute session.
"I am going to contribute with my work to a purpose that touches me deeply," says Carolina, who become an overnight celebrity Chile, making news headlines and appearing on talk shows since she made her unusual donation to the charity event.
"I've already auctioned off the 27 hours of love," says Carolina. "One of my clients already paid. It seemed like a good deed to him."
Speaking about her unusual donation, campaign organizer Mario Kreutzberger said he would not encourage 'immoral' activities, but said he would accept her pledge: "Everyone can do what they want, but if someone tells me that they'll do something immoral... I'm not going to encourage it."
But Carolina defended herself: "There are people who are going to be donating money that's a lot more questionable than mine. The only thing I did was publicize it." |
