NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Eddy Arnold, whose mellow baritone on songs like "Make the World Go Away" made him one of the most successful country singers in history, died Thursday morning, days short of his 90th birthday.

I did not know Eddy Arnold. I wonder if he was before my time. I hear about it on the country radio about his death.

Eddie died a very rich man....invested in real estate and made a killing in Brentwood Tennessee. Great man of country music and never was the same after his beloved wife died.
