| as far as her legacy is concerned - her dying so young was the best thing that coulda happened. if she had gotten old she would not have aged gracefully and it would have been a rather ugly sight to see. good thing she died young or else she wouldn't be thought of in the same lines as she is today - ZERO question about it |

| I saw the remake which caused me to see the 1960 version. The "blonde bombshell" starlet, a pop favorite I do not recall was just that; a blonde with a now OK body but crooked lower teeth. She would not make the cut for a car ad today. In her day MM had it all. See the movie where she dives into a pool and goes to the male star. With wet hair and little or no makeup, her real beauty comes out great. |
