i last maybe 15 min then i get screen freeze and i boot it then it gos thur a disk check on file c fat 32. iam i a goner or what, been like this for a week now

Maybe for new users it will be nice to explain what are ntfs and fat32 exactly.

FAT,FAT32: are older versions that windows used on its non-business
windows. In the 90's there were 2
distinctly different OS's.
FAT for Windows (very unstable), remember the blue screen of death.
Well that was FAT (File allocation table).It is how it indexed and
accessed data and then there was and always has beenn NTFS (New Technology File Structure). Used in the old days only for NT, the business app. Well as the 2 merged
so did the file strutures. It no longer is a GUI for DOS, but an entire OS in and of itself and the whole world of windows in NTFS..PJF

Igot A BIG OLD F/N MONITOR NOW 19' new acer puter 518ram , had to call nat. help deck to get online .ended up halfing to stick a pin in the back of the modem to reset , .
