Post MILLENIUM SHOWS TRUE CHARACTER ONCE AGAIN!!!

A couple of days ago we had a nice discussion about whether Bookmakers should post on forums.

http://www.eog.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8534

There were great points made both for and against and I thank all who posted (please feel free to continue the discussion).

As many of you know, when we started EOG, Millenium contacted us about advertising. After much deliberation amongst the staff of EOG we decided that it would be in our best interest not to accept Millenium due to the fact that they are owned by BOS. We wanted EOG's advertisers to represent the Best of the Best the Offshore world has to offer and clearly BOS and any book affiliated with them fall short. This was not an easy decision for me as the owner of Millenium, what I thought at the time, a friend.

I do not like to rehash history, but you all know what happened next. Norm came onto the forums and acted like some reform school dropout turned down for a date. In my many years in this industry I do not believe I have seen a worse performance by a book.

In the Bookmaker thread above I noted these actions by Millenium as an example of how a book should not act when posting. I was merely citing a current, relevant example relating to the discussion.

You can imagine my shock when I read this email yesterday:

From: Norm

Subject: Fw: Asshole

Dr. Putz,

Someone brought to my attention the fact that you had made a derogatory remark within a thread on the EOG forum concerning Millennium that stated something to the fact that, "Millennium comes to mind as a perfect example of a sports book to avoid and here's why...

Now, you and I had our little go around last August, where you and I bilaterally vented our anger using the RX forum, and your forum shill, Jay Cohen, which went as far as to publish my BOP number to the public. At that time I reluctantly backed off from telling the world of your past history of using your profession as a vehicle to dispense controlled substances that were not intended for their prescribed purpose or about your arrest, or your cooperation with the authorities. I let it all drop and went on with my life, and nothing derogatory has since been posted by me on any forum concerning Ken Weitzner, or EOG for that matter.

In reviewing this thread personally I find it somewhat comical to even conceive that we were friends in the past, simply business associates. And as a RX sponsor, for many years my company helped put food on the table for your family. It's was your choice to omit any company that you wished from your gambling site, but you can't use that site as pedestal to utter blasphemy about that company which you omitted. I find this hard to bear since I own a considerable amount of stock in that company, which is perfectly legal to do, since it's a publicly offered company on the British Stock Exchange. Now you are making attempts to take food off the table of my family. If someone did this to you I'm sure you would consider retaliatory measures. As an owner of a watchdog sportsbook site, I'm sure you're aware of the fact that the DOJ frowns on US citizens who perpetuate offshore sportsbooks, especially those who reside on North American soil. They have threatened many affluent radio, TV, and publishing mediums with aiding and abetting if they continued these practices. This, I'm sure; is one of the reasons you sold the RX in the past to a Canadian company. I, for one, keep very methodical records, to the extent that I file all of my email in folders for eternity (since 1999). I also have wire documentation of wires sent to your company in the past, which corresponds to email requests made by you personally. Let's see.oh yes.how about that 700 package that you had with Millennium Sports? And how about those wires that were sent to your offshore bank account corresponding to the agent's balance due? Did you report all of this revenue to the IRS? Does the CID of the IRS and the DOJ know that you were an agent for an offshore sportsbook in the past? Yes, we all have little skeletons in our closets, don't we? I'm really sick of your shit, and you know what? .it's about time I found some ways to shut your fucking mouth once and for all. **

So now we have a new issue before us:

SHOULD BOOKMAKERS USE EMAIL?

Based on the above, my vote is a thunderous NO!

In passing , I do have one question for Norm - Did Gary and the Board of
Directors of this "publicly offered company on the British Stock Exchange"
approve your email?

P.S.

While I don't normally post personal emails, I felt this one was important enough to display so that gamblers can witness for themselves the type of bookmaker, BOS/Millenium is. If this can happen to me, it certainly can happen to you.

As much as you think the DOJ people frown upon those who accept ads from offshore sports books. what they really despise are those who operate them.

Not that I would ever do what you're threatening to do to me, but people who freely travel back and forth shouldnt cast stones, particularly those with prior convictions.

We can now add Millenium to the books that should never be dealt with. 1.Royal2. Betus/Omni 3. Millenium
After reading this Email, it is easy to see the importance of only doing business (sending your money) with legitimate books. Books like Royal and Betus that admit to slow paying players and stealing our bonuses for no reason, should not be excused or tolerated. I know JJ, Millenium always pays you. I say fuck these books and never stop spreading the word about the scum that they are.

BetMill is a complete joke, I played there last year and got shut off the internet, I called to find out why and got some local with no clue yelling and screaming at my because I was winning(imagine that). I got treated like some sort of criminal because I wroked hard at what I did. I got booted oif the Interent, they took away my free half point, revoked a bonus, I finally got a different supervisor and asked if I could stay with them to just bet teasers(6pts even money) they agreed but then kiced me out a month later anyway. Nothing but headaches, but I will say I did get paid every penny from them, as if thats suppose to be a plus to get paid what you are owed.

these kind of pissing contests are what starts investigations. I don't understand posting that letter at all. It serves no purpose but to open eyes whether it's true or false.
Ken, someday some gung ho DOJ rep will show up requesting all records that you have regarding sportsbooks. Then they'll go to your bank and check all deposit records how much and where they came from. It goes downhill from there trust me. I'd delete this thread if I was you.

I got the exact same treatment as shoe.

I started out 10 dimes in the hole there and they were glad to take 2k bets from me on the net on baseball sides.

They when I erased the 10 dime deficit and got in the black, all of a sudden I was some supposed beard or wiseguy.

Shrink, since I am forever in debt to you, I will make sure to add Millenium as a book not to be dealt with to all of my posts on Royal and Betus/Omni. It is simple to do, and I think important.

it is one thing to gamble offshore, it is totally another to start buying and selling web addresses, making money on advertising, having that INCOME funneled here and there, and NOT report it or pay taxes on it.

Plain and simple, if you are jerking around and making SIGNIFICANT money in this grey area business, you better be claiming everything, and reporting all relative income to the proper authorities.

Winning a couple $50 parlays is one things, not claiming tens of thousands in advertising fees is another. Especailly if people in a foreign domain who never plan to come back to the US (thus avoiding any problems that might occur) have documentation and receipts, and records, and numbers.

If people are making the money they claim they are, and are not claiming it they are retarded. I claim just about everyting. But I also have more than enough paper from Vegas to make it realistic looking.

Well if this clown really does have an acct number, and there is money there that hasn't been claimed, then that is an issue. Or has receipts from "legitimate" payments that are not accounted for, that is a problem as well. I probably wouldn't have posted that email either way. But that is me.

Sam, Johnny, & wantitall4moi,

I thought long and hard before posting this thread. If I had wanted to cheat the IRS, I certainly wouldn't have insisted on using WIRES since they are traceable.

The purpose of my post is to WARN gamblers who bet offshore to be CAREFUL before sending money to BOS/MILLENIUM.

Just because they are located in Costa Rica doesn't mean that they are ABOVE the LAW...

If anyone can relate to this, I am sure Russ from MW & John from SBR can. Hopefully, other watchdog sites will rally behind anyone of us who gets threatened like this, but we'll see...

I have a large and close FAMILY that I CHERISH dearly. It is my RIGHT to do whatever I deem necessary to PROTECT THEM...

In retrospect, I am more sure now than I was before that OMITTING MILLENIUM/BOS from this website was the RIGHT thing to do, not just for me and my family, but for the many posters who value my opinion...

Ok heres my take....

I am opposed to posting emails on public forums. And maybe it wasnt the smartest thing for THE SHRINK to post this on the forum beause it will just open more eyes and mouths to criticize him. But this time maybe the email should have been posted if just for warning people to stay away from a book like this. I am pretty damn sure THE SHRINK went back and forth and back and forth again before posting the email. This email is a direct threat to THE SHRINK and his family. This email also shows what type of people run BOS. If you or anyone else was thinking bout posting up there, I hope this sheds some light on the people wou would be sending your money too. People that have to resort to this level (threats) are people I wouldnt want to deal with.

I agree. When Royal starting calling my house and threatening me, I thought I should file a report for the simple fact that if Royal did follow through on their threats, I wanted the cops to know who did it. I was called a rat by Betting Prophets for d
