we have a thing down under in sydney and we work with odds like for example andreev is the favourite @ 1.45 to beat pavel rite
where as u guys have a numbers system eg. pavel +190....wat does the +190 mean....for anything really just a bit confused ay...

thats american odds. you use european odds.

1.45 favorite would be -220 or so in american. meaning youd have to lay 220 to win 100.

Hi MM,

Using American Odds any +ve number if the amount won per 100 bet while any -ve number is the stake required to win 100.

European odds, that you refer to, are almost always easier to use than American odds fo complex calculations. The sole advantage of American odds is their ease in calculating buy back on the other side for a guaranteed profit.
