IZZY OUT as Cardinals closer

After blowing his 5th save of the season last night, Jason Isringhausen will no longer be the STL Cardinals closer, at least for the time being.

Manager Tony LaRussa stated that most of the save opportunities will go to Ryan Franklin and Russ Springer

"We'll mix and match," La Russa said. "I think all things, everyone rested, Franklin and Springer are the guys that match up the best."

Yeah... thats probably good i rolled with them on pretty much all their embarrasing 8th, 9th inning losses.... looks like they are going to cash a +160 while im not on them
