Last night's action here went 2-1-0 while going 7-4-0 overall.

Records/Stats
Here: 49-38-3, 56.322% win rate but -$76,549.
Overall: 100-88-5, 53.191% win rate but -$63,840.

Won't attempt to explain why things are the way they are (record & money). All action for here, is listed here and as such one can see the results. Progress is being made on removing the redness and that's the important factor. Seasonal goals are still obtainable.

Yesterday's action went 0-3-0.

Season stands at: 57-45-4, -$78,503.

Here are five (5) to start your day:
NYY > CLE, risked 2 units
DET > LAA, played to win 100 units
LAA/DET over 10', played to win 75 units
STL > HOU, played to win 7.5 units
SD > AZ, risked 5 units

=====================

Here's a few ideas/thoughts for today's Tampa Bay Downs card.

Heading into scratches, here is how it's seen:

4/ #6 Awesome Allen and #7 Cause and Effect will be used as keys plus
ladders.

6/ #2 Galaxy Wind and #9 Halo's Prides will be used as keys plus
standards.

7/ #4 Many Mesa - if labeling a race, this would qualify as co-best
action of the day - pound and key.

8/ #1 Miss Naples has made solid steady progress from the first time on
the surface. No reason to not be in the money this race (less injury
during race). Laddered and keyed.

11/ #6 Don'tputmeback - if labeling a race, this would qualify as co-best
action of the day - pound and key.

quisp,

Thank you. Been a bit of a pisser so far this season - teams getting swept when they should blow the doors off them, bad/dumb/stupid team play, etc - but it's part of the game and you won't hear or see much/if any complaints about it. Hopefully, this month will be more productive than the opening one.

Far as the derby/horses go, more than likely but haven't looked at the advance form more than a handful of times. Will buy Saturday's form, Friday afternoon and see what turns up. Something to remember, to/for horse players this is just another day to wager but for the goobers (as CT used to call them) a day to add money to the pools. Speaking of which, there will be a race honoring his memory slated for 3:20pm (race 7) a nine panel turf event and afterwards during the presentation to winning connections doubt there will be many without a tear or two in their eyes. Those who knew him realized how special he was - I could speak pages about him and his family but won't as there are some things that need to remain private. My family and I are thankful for the times we got to spend time with him and his (family).

DET/MN, over 9, played to win 50 units
SEA > NYY, risked 1 unit
OAK > TX, play to win 50
CUBS > STL, risked 1 unit
CIN > ATL, risked 1 unit
CO > LAD, played to win 50 units
LAA > BAL, played to win 50 units

BOL to all on this action.

-------------------------------

Exacta
Box: 10,12,13,19 and 20
Cost: $20 per $1 ticket
Action: Ten (10) $2 tickets

Triples
10 with 12,13,19 and 20 with all
12 with 10,13,19 and 20 with all
13 with 10,12,19 and 20 with all
19 with 10,12,13 and 20 with all
20 with 10,12,13 and 19 with all
Cost: $72 per $1 ticket
Action: Ten (10) $1 tickets (two [2] each)

Weighted Win Ticket
Action to be placed on the 10,12,13,19 and 20 with about 3-5 minutes to post. Dollar amounts are unknown at this time. This is one of those formula things that is tough to explain when not in person but here is an attempt. Each horse has odds. Each odds represents a percentage of winning. Each figure requires an amount/numerical value - these are on a chart making it easy to read off to the clerk/teller. As long as one does not exceed 100 percent and one of the choices wins, there is profit. These tickets will be of the $20 type - if deemed appropriate.
