Another Rookie Phenom makes his debut on Sunday as Jeremy Sowers takes the mound. 9-1...1.39 era....2 complete games...97 innings....54 K's..29 walks.....15 RUNS allowed. This may be at AAA Buffalo but it is enough for me to make this a Strong Play. Debut pitchers have fared well this year and I see no reason why this won't continue.

A's +118 (Loaiza vs Cain)..............................200/236

Cain took a No Hitter into the ninth last time out against these same A's, I look for the A's to get to Cain early and revenge not only for that loss but yesterday's collaspse. I'm looking forthe veteran Loaiza too get the job done and the Bullpen to Step it Up and close it out.

Angels -130 (Escobar vs Batista)..........................260/200

Escobar haspitched good last 3 times out going 7 or 8 innings and giving up only 2 runs inall 3 games. The innings is what matters here as the Angels setup men were usedup yesterday, I look for 8 innings out of Escobar and K-Rod to closeit out, Batista has been just the opposite since his 3-0 run in late may/early June. Last 3 starts he has gone more than 6 and given uo 3 6 7 runs. D'backs pen is also in tough shape, I'll take my chances and go for the sweep today

Nationals +128 (Hernandez vs Cabrera)................100/128

Livan lasted 1.2 innings last time out, I'm looking for a fresh Hernandez to pitch well enough to get the W. I stated yesterday the Nat's would win a game this weekend, I like their chances today

Astros +110 (Oswalt vs Vazquez)........................100/110

I'll take Oswalt as a dog almost any time out, today he pitches as javier vasquez who when in Arizona was 2-5 with an era over 4. The Stros will be able to put some runs on the board and I look for Oswalt/Lidge combo to take care of business....8pm game....LINE SHOULD MOVE UP...MY ADVICE WAIT UNTIL AFTER ALL DAY GAMES GO TO GET THE BEST LINE

Twins -148 (Radke vs Marshall)...........................148/100

I play for the sweep in this game as Radke has pitched decent and the Cubs are just awful, they may get Derrick Lee back but that may just put the public on the Cubs and not help the lineup yet.
