Playing time, playing time...playing time! That and the fact that it makes it MUCH easier for these guys to go 1-and-Done when your team doesn't have Title hopes to persuade you to stay. In Cousins' case, I think it's a huge career move. Another C-USA prospect that will contribute solidly and stand out like a sore-thumb. UAB was and still is a decent team that took Memphis to the wire last year...Robert Vaden is coming into his last year, they have a very legitimate chance at taking the conference this year and an even better chance of dancing with better than an 8-9 seed. If Memphis stumbles(because Dozier can't do it alone) and UAB takes that spotlight, they'll want someone to continue bringing buckets next year to keep it going. Talk about instant go-to-guy.

Plus, I think these kids see a D. Rose or Beasley and think they can be the same. There's a huge difference of supporting cast though when you compare those guys and the teams these youngins' are committing to.
