This is fucking NUTS!!! He's playing a tape of him and McNamee talking on the phone for 17 minutes!! This is much crazier than the OJ shit, the Congress Steroid Hearings, or anything I think I've ever seen!!
Did you guys watch the 60 Minutes interview last night? I'm PISSED that I missed it (Fell Asleep after the Titans blew it!!)!!!!

Gotta say that I thought Clemens was full of shit until now! This guy on the phone sounded like he "had" to do it... Weird that Clemens didn't really tell him what he wanted when Mac was asking him what he wanted him to do!

Overall though, Feeling like round two goes to Clemens???

Thanks, Newbie!! I think Clemens might be telling the truth!! Even though the Steroid Hearings a few years back DEMAND cynicism at all times when it comes to this kind of shit!! I feel like he's gotta be crazy to voluntarily go to congress if he's lying!! They ALWAYS find that shit out!!
Also, fwiw, I like his lawyer!! RUSTY HARDIN!! What a kick-ass name!!!! Would make a good name for a venereal disease!!lmmfao

a couple of things..these guys take shots daily, it is possible...however very unlikely...he didn't know..but...he looked guilty on that 60 minutes interview...he said he was retiring...ha ha ha

Just think these are the 2 prevailing FACTS that we have:
1. Either he's nuts or he did it b/c nobody goes to congress to lie voluntarily
2. The mutually agreed point that he didn't do these roids in 1997 & 2004; BOTH Cy Young seasons for him!! There were only 3 years in question, I believe! Wasn't 1998, '99, and 2003?? Why wasn't he compelled to do those steroids all the time if those roids made him that much better!?!?!?

I didn't know what to make of the shiftiness of the 60 Minutes interview, but the guy seems to have changed my opinion today to at least "undecided!" How can you not give him the chance? The benefit of the doubt? He's the greatest pitcher OF OUR LIFETIMES, people!!!!

Would you have been so quick to judge Jerry Rice?? Not have afforded him the benefit of the doubt? Or would you even have cared? Look at Shawn Merriman!! He's just celebrated like the greatest thing to ever shit behind 2 shoes and he openly did steroids!! And is and asshole, also!!

Sorry I've been writing these long-ass posts full of analysis after analysis, but I've felt the need for expression on a number of subjects today, and this one made the list at about 1:00 p.m.!!
