| At USC, there are so many greats that it would be impossible to answer that question. Way too many. It would be easier to go positon by position, and even that would be next to impossible. You are talking 7 Heisman Trophy winners to start with. |

Was elected to the Team of the Decade of 1970's, is a member of Alabama's Team of the Century and is a member NFL and Alabama Sports Hall of Fame. (The best pure football player I have ever seen play.) 2. Tie: Lee Roy Jordan and Cornelius Bennett Lee Roy Jordan, 1960-1962, Linebacker. Voted Alabama's Player of the Decade for the 1960's which included Namath and Ken Stabler. Voted to Tide's Team of the Century and a member of ESPN's all-time college football team. He is a member of the College Football's Hall of Fame and finished fourth in the Heisman Trophy balloting in 1962. 2. Cornelius Bennett, 1983-1986, Linebacker Three time All-American and SEC Player of the Year in 1986. Finished seventh in the 1986 Heisman Trophy balloting. Voted to Alabama's team of the Century and the Player of the Decade for the 1980's. |

| Romo, Gump was a good one but he quit the Bear and joined the war. Enjoyed that movie though. (If that had been real, Coach Bryant would have called the President to keep that boy on campus......and Gump would have been on campus.) |
