As relayed to me by someone at the Golden Nugget. I have not seen the lines, but heard some of the same on the radio:

Boise State -4 vs Oregon.
Alabama -4 vs Virginia Tech.
Illinois -2 1/2vs Missouri. A definate play if I can get -2 1/2.
Oklahoma State -3 vs Georgia. Thought that would be a bit higher.
Notre Dame -17 vs Nevada Reno.
USC -6 1/2 at Ohio State. Way too much IMO.
Floirda -27 vs Tennessee. Too little?
Georgia -4 vs LSU.
Florida -11 at LSU. I see a possible LSU play here.
Texas -3 vs Oklahoma.
USC -10 1/2 at Notre Dame. Again, too much.
Florida -16 vs Georgia. Interesting that it is 16 and not 17.
Alabama -6 vs LSU
Penn State -3 vs Ohio State
Oklahoma -10 1/2 vs Oklahoma State
Florida -20 1/2 vs Florida State

This is just a sampling. There is suppose to be 130 of these that will be put out by 7/1. I hope to get a complete list by then.

USC is only -10.5???? I really like that one, I still don't think ND has athletes that can run with USC, Navy and Michigan State yes but USC no.

The SC fans might be surprised with the boys of Troy this year. Laying 6.5(7 by kickoff) and 10+ on the road this yr. Thats just too much

I already wrote this on another forum about the Sept games.

ND-17 vs. Nev- As it is, the trends are not great for ND laying that many, and its home opener, but what will this be bet down to. I thought it would 11.5 to 13. I don't know if it will get below 14 if it started at 17pts to those "special few" that get to bet this game 1st.

orgon +4 @ Boise- This was the number I was looking for. WOuld love 4.5/5. I hope people fall in love with that Boise home record past 10yrs and bet this up.

Sept 12th week- This is a great week it seems for football, and love these games. Hoping ND is only 3, I would buy it down. Tenn -3 @ H, this will be 4/4.5 by gametime. And this last would be a 10 Unit play for me, +6.5(buy .5), getting the Buckeyes @ Home with a TD.

Aub -4- yeah, this gaem I am all over as well. WVU should have trouble on the road all yr, this is one I circled. Phil steele said they should be dogs only 3 times, this one w/ @ USF and @ RU.

Haw +7- I have this as their 1st L's. These 2 are very even though, and expect this game to e very close and one they could pull out. They travel to LaTech next, and if they win this, I would double up on them(LT) the next week.

fresno +10.5 on Friday Night Lights @ H in the Valley. This is the one team in WAC that Fresno has losing rec vs, lost 3 in a row & 7 out L8. They have been blowouts as well, L8 ave win by 19pts. No one circles the wagons like Pat Hill. They are playing on a short week, but Fresno will run this game on the ground, and that is a section I have said Boise will be taken advantage of.

BYU-3 I love them @ Home, and will fade FSU whenever it calls for it.

Nevada +7 @H- Playing a team I will fade all yr in MIzzu, the wolfpack Offense should have a field day at home vs. the Mizzu Defense.

V-Tech -4.5- this a team I think might be playing in the NC game. Now, Mia prob comes into this 0-2 on season and in conf. Then they get to go home and play OK. VT needs to get thru this game to get to Puke and BC on their sched.


other games I think they are spot on with, and don't know if I really want to bet them just now. But If I would play them right now, I think the lines would be lower on the dogs/higher on favs as it comes closer to gametime.

Here is my take. I 've wagered on a few games already:
Illinois -2 1/2 at Missouri. Revenge time for the Illini.

Florida State pk at B.C. If Bowden can't beat thses guys, he should retire on the spot.

Oregon +3 at UCLA. I do not believe Steele's take on these two schools. Obviously someone does.

North Carolina +3 vs Florida State. UNC getting 3 points at home on a Thursday. I can't resist that.

North Carolina +2 1/2 vs Miami. Once again, UNC at home against a team with possibly 4 or more losses? It's getting near Christmas.

Leans:

LSU -16 at Washington. Tricky here. Why not 17?

Ga. Tech +4 at Miami. I see way too much respect for Miami in these lines.

Georgia -2 1/2 at Arkansas. A statement game for UGA if they want to serioiusly contend in the SEC.

Michigan State +4 1/2 at Wisky. If MSU want to be considred a legit Big 10 contender, they have to win these types of games.

Ga.Tech +4 1/2 at Florida State. Tough game, but give me Paul Johnson and more than 4 and I have to consider it.

I never wager on USC games because they are my alma mater and you wager with your brain, not your heart. Having said that, gun to head, I fade SC in every one of the listed away games. If they cover such big spreads against Ohio State, Cal, Notre Dame, and Oregon, just give them the NC Trophy and saveus some time. I think they will be very lucky to cover 1 of those 4 games. I hope I am wrong, but that is a ton of points to be giving to quality opponents.
