Even with 18 starters back and a cupcake non conference schedule, along with their very weak conf. schedule, I hope the pollsters hold down the 11-1 or 12-0 Luckeyes from the BCSH*T Championshit game in 2008 !!! The college football fans of america are owed alot better than that !!! Where is the RPI that should be in college football !!! We deserve better !!! Kentucky, sixth in the SEC 2007, would have given the Lucks a run for their money, if they had played in the small 10 conf. !!! No doubt !!!

it's not the buckeyes fault that the rest of the conference can't recruit and non conference schedule you better check yourself because htey do play USC.

The same RPI that said the ACC was the best conference in CBB

OSU did not have the talent to compete last year, not the case this year.

Ohio State has a cupcake non conference schedule and then a weak conference schedule !!! They shouldnt qualify for the BSC championship games just on those facts !!! Then you add on the fact their last game of the year is in mid November and all the real powerhouse teams are playing into December with conference championship games !!! That is the biggest facter to keep them out of the BIG GAME !!! They play like SHIT because of too much time off between games !!! Its not their fault, its just the way it is !!!
We fans deserve alot better around "BOWL GAME TIME !!!"

Remember Justin Zwick a few years ago ?
He was the greatest prep QB ever in Ohio schoolboy football !!!
He stunk up the field and on came Smith !!!
Schoolboy is the key word !!!

I would love ohio state beating the piss outta ND year after year....I would forfeit OSU's consideration for a bowl game if they could play ND every year.

Notre Dame signed a guy out of St.Paul, Minnesota this year named Michael floyd from Cretin high school. He has alot of potential and they say he could be a pro wr in the future !!! Some liken him to Larry Fitzgerald, also from the twin cities. If thats true, WTF is he going to lame ass Notre Dame and that vomit offense !!! Floyd played in the Army schoolboy game and looked really good !!! His desicion, IMO, really stucks !!!

i agree hercules...by the way i know your an SEC fan so my request to you is to have tOSU join the SEC conference for football only because the best competition tOSU sees is when they go out of conference, even against MAC teams.

It is all about how fast you are in college, if you have two or three speedsters on offense and can spread out a defense your going to win a lot. Look at florida, LSU, and USC.

Hercules - you might want to get your facts straight...clearly you are a Buckeye hater:

First of all we play @ USC 3rd game of the season...hardly a cupcake

Secondly, Zwick was not rated the best QB at all & overall was the 40th best player in the country as a high school player not #1 like Pryor. (FYI - QB's rated higher than him in 2002 were Vince Young, Ben Olson, Marcus Vick, Trent Edwards & James Banks)

Not to say that means Pryor is a lock by any means...just speak the facts or don't speak at all
