Default UT HATERS COME ON IN

MAKE YOUR BOLD PREDICTIONS..I GUESS THOSE SAYING UT WON'T WIN 5 GAMES DON'T LOOK AT SCHEDULES MUCH.

WKEN
UCLA
fl
OHIO
AU
uga
off
al
USC
MEMPHIS
OLE MISS
VANDY
KY

im thinking 7 wins...maybe 8.
yes i think UT beats Wken to start...beats an overrated UCLA Team that UT shouldve beaten last year...loses to Fl...beats Ohio so thats 3-1 people..I am up in air about au as i think they are overrated and game being in Knox i say thats the upset win to move to 4-1...UT has owned UGA at Gawga but i think come out of that 4-2.. having week off before bamer game huge and I think that UT will play best game of season that week...but lose late...4-3 then beat USC...fulmer is not coaching against spurrier anymore and his overrated offense is just that..will be low scoring d battle..5-3 beat memphis 6-3 lose to ole miss 6-4..beat vandy 7-4 beat Ky 8-4..now that is with the upset of Au and usc which both could be losses but both won't UT will win one of those or pull the impossible off at bammer.

so I gave you the schedule and when UT off and where the games are .
youdon't think ut can win 5....
make your bet...put up or shut up.
i said im in.

You have no QB and no "O" Line

3 0f your wins will be Memphis, Ohio, Western Ky

Your coach is a jerk

Your AD is on thin ice

Good Luck

Let's see:

Western Kentucky. Should be a WIN. Nothing dramatic in that game.

UCLA. Neuheisel would love to beat one of the two ex-USC coaches he faces this year, Still, Tennessee should prevail, but this is no lock. MAYBE

@Florida. This is going to be a massacre. Tennessee will get killed. A LOSS

Ohio. No big deal here. An easy WIN.

Auburn. Could be another win, but it may be closer than one thinks. A MAYBE

Georgia. Tennessee normally does well, but not this year. A LOSS

@Alabama. No question here. A LOSS

South Carolina. Not a real good idea to get Spurrier ticked off at you. A MAYBE.

Memphis. Another softie, another WIN.

@Mississippi. Closer than one may think, but a definate LOSS.

Vanderbilt. This should be a win, but will there be anything left? A WIN

@Kentucky. Theoir only shot at a road win. A WIN.

So Tennessee should have 5 sure wins, 4 sure losses, and 3 maybe's. That adds up to a 7-5 or 6-6 season. 8-4 at best. 4-8 at worst. Nothing to write home about either way unless they actually go 8-4. 4-8 may get him fired. Tennessee certainly has cause now.

No. This is about the UT near Oak Ridge, home of some of the best moonshine around. They have good barbeque there too. Can't say much about the football team, but the food is good and the people for the most part, are friendly, even if they are totally blinded by Orange.

UT should house WKU as WKU lost a lot a will be a rebuilding year for them. Hopefully for the sake of UT self esteeem they get things clicking and can parlay that performance to the following week against UCLA.

UF, is going to be a very tough game. People are making wayyyyy toooo much of the comments by Kiffin. What did they expect him to say at an alumni dinner "well Florida a good team, and they'll probably beat us by at least 30, I wouldn't be shocked to lose by 45+." I mean come on it's an alumni dinner and the purpose of those (this is for people who don't know how CFB works) are to get donations for the program. Kiffin did what anyone in a similar situation would do and that is to give hope going forward, so the alumni feel real good about giving money and possibly give more money than they would of otherwise. You may call that wishful thinking, but it's just good business.

All this talk about Kiffin being a jerk I don't get. So what, most the good SEC coaches are Saban, Meyer, and Miles. Richt is the exception, but the exception proves the rule.

Ohio could give them a real fight, as UT has Auburn next weekend. Auburn will be tough to judge as they have a new coach and each team will be in a similar position.

Kiffin is just a loose cannon. He does have some coaching skills, but I do not know if he has enough to lead a team. He has done one thing that I though ws impossible to do. He has made Al Davis look good for getting rid of him. I never though that ANYONE could make Al Davis look good.

Ditka just proved my point on Fulmer and lack of motivation or coaching last year.

After finishing UT camp, Scroggins says he has not committed

Quarterback Jesse Scroggins maintained he is not committed to play football for Tennessee despite persistent speculation to the contrary.
“I’m loving the trip actually,” the 6-foot-3, 195-pound Scroggins from Lakewood (Calif.) High School said following UT’s camp on Saturday. “This is my mother’s home state. That gave them (the Vols) an advantage a little but I have not committed yet.”
The trip was Scroggins’ first to Knoxville. Scroggins visited Florida this week before traveling to UT. He maintained that he is still “wide open” concerning his college decision but it was clear UT had made a strong impression and likely vaulted into the lead.
Scroggins will stay in Knoxville until Sunday before flying home to Southern California. If Scroggins stays true to his plan, UT will have the final say in his recruitment.
“I don’t plan to commit on any of these trips,” Scroggins said. “I’m thinking next week or something. I’ve still got to go back and evaluate and talk to my coach, tell him how I feel and talk to my parents.”
Much of Scroggins decision could hinge on UT’s evaluation of his cousin: receiver Jerry Anderson from Houston High School in Germantown. Anderson was at UT’s camp on Saturday.
“We used to play together when we were like five and six (years old) and we’ve been trying to hook up since, but it hasn’t really worked out yet,” Anderson said. “Hopefully Tennessee can make that happen.”
Anderson said he has scholarship offers from Duke, Ole Miss, Purdue, Indiana and Middle Tennessee State. He said he was hoping for a UT offer before the end of the day on Saturday.
“I haven’t seen him in four years,” Scroggins said of his cousin. “Working out with him was a great thing. I’m hoping they offer him.”
UT has family on its side in Scroggins’ recruitment. He has several family members living in Memphis. That sense of family carried over to Scroggins’ trip to Knoxville.
“It’s more like a family feeling,” Scroggins said. “It felt like I already knew them (UT fans) but I didn’t know them. Everything felt good.”
Scroggins certainly felt at home when he saw “The Rock” painted orange and white with “Scroggins = T Championships”. “The Rock” is a minivan-sized stone close to the athletic complex that is often painted with university-related messages.
“I came here and my name was on this big rock,” Scroggins said with a wide smile. “That’s very impressive. I felt welcome, very welcome.”
Scroggins spent much of his time in Knoxville with UT coach Lane Kiffin.
With only one scholarship quarterback slated to be on the roster following the 2009 season, UT is in desperate need of a quarterback for its 2010 signing class.
“Down to earth guy,” Scroggins said describing Kiffin. “We kid around about stuff. He’s real cool.”
Scroggins will take part in a camp at Southern California next weekend in which six quarterbacks will take part in a skills competition.
“Whoever does the best this week gets an offer on the spot,” Scroggins said, reciting what he has been told by USC coaches.
Yet an offer doesn’t mean Scroggins is certain to pick the Trojans, even though USC’s campus is less than 20 miles from Scroggins’ home.
“This process is almost over,” Scroggins said. “(They) kind of waited.”
Scroggins is widely considered one of the best pro-style quarterbacks in the nation, although he has more athletic ability than many of his pocket passing counterparts.
That was on display during some of UT’s footwork drills. Scroggins’ strong arm was best showcased during UT’s one-on-one and seven-on-seven drills.
Scroggins said he was impressed with some of the UT players he met on his trip, namely tailback Bryce Brown and defensive end Chris Walker.
“The trip has been fun,” Scroggins said. “I got to work out in the camp and the coaches have showed me around and gave me love.”
