What was a staple here back in 2005 & 2006, as you can see below, is back for yet another try. I gave it a shot in the main forum a few months ago but it got lost in the shuffle and this forum, thanks to the General and Dirty, is back like Billy Martin.

The goal is to use this forum as a tool...to see who the "sharps" are and look at who the hot (and cold) handicappers are and for whatever else helps you.

MadCapper and Tuckman, so far, have offered to help run and grade this forum. I will post it daily.

The rules will be tweaked as we go along as I haven't had a chance to discuss some items with the guys above, but I wanted to get this up for the Wildcard Round of the NFL playoffs.

We'll keep you advised of changes as we go along and will take any offers from any volunteers who want to spend a bit of time helping us.

This is not a contest, yet. But if we can keep this going, who knows? And I have some EOG goodies to give away at some point. More later.

Anyway, here are some ground rules that you can almost bank on will be altered based on feedback:

1. You may make ONE Pick Of The Day from any sport you wish. Sides, totals, money lines, run lines, as long as.......

2. Moneyline favorites MUST BE -150 or less, except in hockey and baseball.

3. Please post the line and sportsbook that you are using. Rotation numbers will help on busy college basketball Saturdays. Please try and use them.

4. All picks are based on a $100 wager. Please post your juice or we will assume it's -110.

5. For baseball season all plays are action unless you specify listed pitchers.

6. Standings will be updated as often as humanly possible, hopefully on a daily basis.

We haven't come up with a minimum or maximum # of plays you must submit for us to keep you in the standings. Again, we'll advise, but try to shoot for 15-20 plays a month.
