	Rudi Johnson (hamstring) may miss the Monday night clash against the Patriots according to Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis. Johnson struggled mightily against the Seahawks in Week 3 before being replaced by Kenny Watson, who would see the bulk of the action if Johnson is out and would be a solid fantasy option. 	Rudi Johnson (hamstring) has been ruled out for Monday night's game. Kenny Watson is likely to get the start against New England, with DeDe Dorsey spelling him for some carries. The matchup is extremely tough, but Watson makes for a decent PPR flex because he's a strong bet to catch a lot of passes. The Bengals may just air it out against the Patriots instead of testing their elite front seven. It's uncertain how long Rudi will be out for, but it's a bad sign he was ruled out so quickly. 	Rudi Johnson (hamstring) is active for Week 6, but Kenny Watson will start. The Bengals inactives are RT Willie Anderson, S Ethan Kilmer, LBs Ahmad Brooks, Rashad Jeanty, and Caleb Miller, DL Jonathan Fanene, and WR Tab Perry. Jeff Rowe is the third quarterback. Anthony Schlegel will start at middle linebacker. Downgrade Rudi slightly because he's not starting, but he may still get the goal-line carries. Expect closer to an equal carry split. Rudi Johnson experienced tightness in his injured hamstring during the third quarter of Sunday's loss to Kansas City.
Johnson denied re-aggravating the hamstring, and coach Marvin Lewis said Rudi "came though the game," so the Bengals' decision to limit his touches may have been a result of more than just his bothersome injury. He'll be a risky Week 7 fantasy start in a normally excellent matchup against the Jets. Oct. 15

	Rudi Johnson is expected to see an increased workload in Week 7, but did not practice Wednesday. It's uncertain how the Bengals plan to divvy up carries, but Kenny Watson figures to continue to play a significant role because of his work in the passing game and the more explosive element he adds. Either way, Kenny Watson is the favorite to carry the bulk of the Bengals' load against the Jets and looks like a solid flex play in points-per-reception leagues at worst. Rudi isn't usable. Rudi Johnson (hamstring) returned to practice Wednesday for the first time since September 19 and is expected to play Sunday against the Bills.

Johnson proclaimed himself "100 percent" after the workout. Kenny Watson (concussion) is expected to practice Thursday, so both could play prominent roles in a favorable matchup. The Bengals haven't made a decision on activating Chris Perry (ankle, leg) from the PUP list yet. The only other tailback on the roster is DeDe Dorsey. Oct. 31

Rudi Johnson remains the Bengals starting RB, though coach Marvin Lewis said the running game was more productive with Kenny Watson as the primary ball carrier.

"We ran the football more effectively in the games Kenny played than in the games Rudi has been in more," said Lewis, but acknowledged the Bengals use more spread formations when Watson is in the game. Neither back is a strong play at this stage, but both will see enough touches to warrant flex consideration against an improved Cardinals defense. Nov. 15

Johnson was basically a non-factor in the first half of the season due to a hamstring injury, so this is a major concern if he continues to miss workouts.
