Default Hines Ward Fantasy 2007

Ward 'doubtful' for Week 4 with sprained knee
Hines Ward - WR - PIT - Sep. 25
Hines Ward has a sprained knee and is "doubtful" for Week 4, according to Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin.
Ward is a gamer and Tomlin wouldn't rule him out, but the Steelers have the luxury to rest him with a 3-0 start to the season. Nate Washington plays Ward's flanker position, so he probably will get the start. TE Matt Spaeth (thigh bruise) is questionable while C Sean Mahan (sprained knee) is expected to play.

Hines Ward - WR - Steelers

Despite being labeled as "doubtful" by coach Mike Tomlin early in the week, the Steelers consider Hines Ward (leg) a game-time decision for Week 4.
Ward has an excellent matchup against a shaky Cardinals secondary, so if he's active he's worth a start in fantasy leagues. "If he tells me Sunday morning, 'I can go,' he can go, because he'll know the game plan," offensive coordinator Bruce Arians said. Ward practicing Friday would be a good sign. Sep. 28 - 10:58 a.m. ET

Hines Ward ruled out for Week 5 game
Hines Ward - WR - PIT - Oct. 5
Hines Ward (sprained knee) and Bryant McFadden (high ankle sprain) have been ruled out for Pittsburgh's Week 5 game against Seattle.
Nate Washington will start at flanker and face off against Seahawks LCB Marcus Trufant. Washington only had two grabs while starting in Ward's place last week. McFadden, the team's nickel corner, won't be around to help cover slot receiver Bobby Engram. Engram is a solid WR3 in PPR leagues.
