Default David Akers

Eagles kicker David Akers finished with six points against
the N.Y. Giants in Week 2. He converted all three extra
point attempts, but missed one of two field goals.

The field goal he missed could have prevented the game from
going into overtime, but that is going into permutations
that are just pure theory in retrospect. Akers got into a
bit of a scrum on the Giants' sideline after the opening
kickoff and was lucky not to get either seriously hurt or
ejected. With that said, Akers remains a solid start in all
leagues. The Eagles will travel to San Francisco where he
will have to deal with wind.

Eagles K David Akers made 1-for-2 field goals and was 5-of-5
on PATs against the 49ers.

The Eagles did plenty of scoring, but Akers was limited to
two field goal opportunities and made just one. He remains a
No. 1 kicker for Week 4 against the Packers.

Eagles kicker David Akers converted on five PAT attempts in
Week 5 vs. Dallas. He also converted on his only FG try of
the game, a 27-yarder.

Akers has been getting more PAT tries than FG attempts this
season, but he still remains a must-start in any league when
healthy. Consider him a great option for Week 6 at New
Orleans.

Eagles PK David Akers did not attempt a field goal but did
notch three extra points at Tampa Bay in Week 7.

Akers is still a good leg for Fantasy. Start him vs.
Jacksonville in Week 8.

Eagles kicker David Akers converted on two FG attempts for
Week 8 vs. Jacksonville.

The Eagles were shut down offensively for most of the game
and it didn't allow for many attempts for Akers. Consider
him a must-start when the Eagles return from a bye in Week
10 vs. Washington.

Eagles K David Akers converted on two FGs and three PATs in
Week 10 vs. Washington, finishing with nine points.

Akers remains one of the better kicking options in Fantasy.
Consider him a must-start for Week 11 vs. Tennessee.

Eagles kicker David Akers was 2-of-2 on field goals and
1-of-1 on extra points against the Titans.

Consider Akers a low-end No. 1 kicker for Week 12 against
the Colts.

David Akers made three extra points in Sunday's loss in Week
12 at Indianapolis and he missed his only field goal
attempt.

Akers is only worth considering as a low-end Fantasy option
for Week 13 against Carolina.

David Akers booted two field goals (28, 25) and he added
three extra points in Week 13 against the Panthers.

Akers is only worth considering as a low-end Fantasy option
for Week 14 at Washington.

Eagles K David Akers converted on three extra point attempts
in Week 14 at Washington.

Despite the slow game, Akers is a great option in Week 15 at
the N.Y. Giants.
