With all his knee troubles so early in the season, will he still put up top 5 numbers? This doesn't seem to be an injury that will go away now the question is can he start all or most games this year? Should I try to trade Gore for him now or Mcgahee for him? His owner in my league is dangling him for a starting RB... I also have tatum bell as my 3rd back. Any advice is appreciated.

I think he will Bettor Days.
I believe they just gave him last week to finally get the rest he's been needing, and feel it will help. Remember, he's been questionable almost every game and still played and put up those huge numbers. Also, he was actually the #1 back in many types of leagues the first 3 weeks. GL with your decision..... |

Andy Reid said yesterday he expects to have Brian Westbrook in the lineup Sunday against Dallas, though he said Westbrook probably won't practice today. Reid reluctantly has acknowledged that Westbrook's injury is a bone bruise, which might involve cartilage damage, and that it might be something that dogs the team's offensive catalyst all season. (Philadelphia Daily News)
FF Today's Take: It sounds like Westbrook at the very least will have to deal with this knee inflammation all season and very well may end up having an arthroscopic procedure at some point during the year which could sideline him for a few weeks. im a westbrook owner myself and am quiet worried |
