Giants RB Brandon Jacobs rushed seven times for 19 yards in
Week 9 vs. Houston. He also caught one pass for 21 yards. Jacobs didn't find pay dirt and that usually means a slow Fantasy day for him. As long as Tiki Barber remains healthy, Jacob should be considered little more than a 'flex' option as a bye-week replacement. |

Brandon Jacobs had a pair of touchdown runs in Week 10
against the Bears on his only two carries of the game. He finished with just nine yards. Jacobs is an outstanding option in scoring-only Fantasy leagues for Week 11 at Jacksonville. In other formats, he can also be helpful, but don't expect a lot in the way of yardage. Of course, his Fantasy value might change dramatically if Tiki Barber (thumb) has a serious injury and cannot play. Stay tuned. |

Giants RB Brandon Jacobs scored two short-yardage touchdowns
in Week 12 at Tennessee. He carried nine times for 54 yards and also added two catches for 14 yards. In Fantasy terms, Jacobs had a better day than starter Tiki Barber. As usual, Barber moved the ball downfield and Jacobs put the ball in the end zone. Fantasy owners should continue to consider Barber the better Fantasy option, but Jacobs can be used in larger leagues as a No. 3 Fantasy RB or as a 'flex' option because of his ability to score. |

Giants RB Brandon Jacobs rushed five times for 29 yards in
Week 14 vs. Dallas. He also caught two passes for 52 yards. Most of his yardage came on a 43-yard screen play, but he played well all around. Consider the Giants backup a viable start in larger leagues because of the looks he gets on the goal line. He'll take on the Panthers in Week 14 on the road. |

Giants RB Brandon Jacobs was held to 16 yards on 10 carries
in Week 14 at Carolina. He was stuffed for no gain on several short-yardage situations and was kept out of the end zone on two seperate carries inside the five. Jacobs is mainly valuable in touchdown leagues only because of his ability to punch the ball in almost every time the Giants get inside the five. This is the risk Fantasy owners take by starting him, though. When he doesn't score, you are left with little. A matchup against a poor Eagles run defense bodes well for him in Week 15. |
