	David Carr has agreed to terms with the Carolina Panthers on a two-year contract. Carr reportedly left his trip in Carolina a few days ago without signing because he wanted a chance to start elsewhere. Miami and Oakland were slow to act, so Carr chose to be Jake Delhomme's backup instead. Delhomme was inconsistent in 2006 and he'll be on a shorter leash now. Source: ESPN.com
