Kellen Winslow (knee surgery) reportedly isn't healthy enough to participate in offseason workouts yet.
It was previously believed that Winslow's absence was due to displeasure with his contract. Agent Drew Rosenhaus says Winslow is rehabbing in San Diego as he prepares for mandatory minicamps, beginning for the Browns on June 10. "I've had (so many) operations, I don't even remember what I had," he said. "The point is, I'm ready." Winslow is unlikely to have a long career, but we don't expect his decline to begin this year. 		NFL.com's Adam Schefter reports that Kellen Winslow (swollen testes) will not play on Monday Night Football against the Giants. Schefter says the extent of Winslow's injury has even been kept from "multiple team employees," but the entire fantasy football world knows about it. Steve Heiden will start Monday night, but isn't an intriguing fantasy option. It's unknown if Winslow is out of the hospital yet, or when he'll be back. 	After practicing on Friday, Kellen Winslow (illness) declared himself "back...and good to go" for Sunday's game against Washington. Winslow wouldn't give any details about his unspecified illness, but is a fair bet to start and play extensively on Sunday. Have him in your lineup, but also save an alternative in a later game just in case.

	An MRI revealed that Kellen Winslow has a sprained shoulder, but no structural damage in the joint. Winslow missed practice Wednesday and may be listed as questionable on Friday's injury report, but this is an ailment he figures to play through. While coach Romeo Crennel says the tight end's status for Week 12 will depend on his range of motion, Winslow has proved throughout his career that he's willing to play in pain. 	Kellen Winslow (questionable, shoulder) returned to Browns practice Friday, albeit in a limited manner. Still, the return to drills is promising and Winslow seems set to play in Week 12 against the Texans. Few players in the NFL are able to perform through injuries at a higher level. The Browns face Houston in a 1:00PM ET game Sunday, so we'll know if Winslow is active early. Pencil him into your lineup.

	An MRI revealed that Kellen Winslow has a high ankle sprain. He has been ruled out for Week 14 against Tennessee. Winslow isn't on IR yet, but may not play again this season. The Browns will likely start Steve Heiden and use rookie Martin Rucker on passing downs in the final four games. They will probably cancel each other out statistically.
