Kevin Jones (foot) was running along the sidelines at Lions minicamp Tuesday.

He wasn't going full speed, but so far Jones' recovery appears to be going well. It's uncertain if he'll be ready for the start of the season, although the Lions sound like they are getting more optimistic. May. 16

A report earlier in the day from ESPN's John Clayton stated that Jones has a good chance to be active against Minnesota, but he probably won't get many carries. A full practice Friday would be a major positive for Jones' recovery. Sep. 13 - 5:07 p.m. ET

	Tom Kowalski of MLive.com reports that RB Kevin Jones (foot) is expected to return in Week 3 against the Eagles. Jones is said to have looked "awesome" in practice this week, but has been ruled out for Week 2 against the Vikings. According to Kowalski, "If Jones plays against Philly, he's only expected to take part in about a dozen plays because they want to bring him back slowly. Source: MLive.com

Kevin Jones (foot) is listed as questionable for Week 3, but is still expected to be involved in 15-20 plays for the Lions on Sunday.
"I’m really optimistic. I’m excited," coach Rod Marinelli said. "I feel good about it." Jones seemed "fine" in practice Friday after going through a rigorous workout Thursday. Tatum Bell remains likely to start Sunday. Sep. 21 - 3:11 p.m. ET
