Coordinator Chan Gailey is installing a new system while trying to rebuild an offensive line that crumbled from its elite heights to truly decrepit by last season. 	Larry Johnson (foot) practiced without incident at Chiefs Organized Team Activities on Monday. "He made it through," coach Herm Edwards said. "He did everything. He’ll practice again (Tuesday)." Johnson will be spelled more than ever by Kolby Smith and rookie Jamaal Charles in offseason workouts, but looks healthy enough to draft in fantasy leagues. Larry Johnson (foot) participated in a 90-minute practice Tuesday and said afterward: "Body-wise, I'm 100 percent."
"It felt good to come out here and still be able to come out and run," Johnson said. Doug Tucker of the Associated Press reports that Johnson was "running hard and fast, free and easy," which is probably better than he could have been described as looking last season even before the foot injury. After participating fully in the first two days of Chiefs minicamp, Larry Johnson sat out Sunday's practice.
The Chiefs are just being careful with their veteran after four straight days of practices. All indications are that Johnson has recovered well from his foot injury. Jun. 8 - 3:54 p.m. ET

	Kolby Smith to draw the start in place of LJ
	Kolby Smith - RB - KC - Oct. 16 - 4:08 p.m. ET
	With Larry Johnson suspended Kolby Smith will be the Chiefs' starting tailback Sunday against the Titans. Jamaal Charles will play off the bench. Charles may still end up with more touches, as he possesses a quicker first step and his speed could create problems for a heavy Titans front. Clearly, neither back is a desirable option, but Charles is a better bet for yards and catches. Smith is probably the slight favorite for goal-line carries. Source: www.kansascitychiefs.ws

	Chiefs set to welcome back L.J. in Week 11?

	According to ESPN's John Clayton, Chiefs coach Herm Edwards is warming to the idea of letting Larry Johnson play after his Week 10 suspension is up. The Chiefs were previously believed to be considering holding L.J. out even after his suspension for violating the conduct code is over, but the team is scrambling with Kolby Smith on IR and rookie Jamaal Charles starting. If L.J. does return in Week 11, Charles' chances of having RB2 value for more than one game in the second half of the season will be significantly reduced.
