The Bills' offense in 2008 "will not be a pass-happy attack," according to beat reporter Allen Wilson.

There has been some talk of Buffalo "opening up the offense" under new OC Turk Schonert, but Wilson says it'll always be conservative for Dick Jauron. The Bills will "make sure" Marshawn Lynch gets his 20-25 carries per game. Apr. 8 - 11:15 a.m. ET

Bills.com writer Chris Brown estimates that Marshawn Lynch will catch 30-45 passes this season.

Brown expects Lynch to be "far more" involved in the passing game under new coordinator Turk Schonert, but cautions that Fred Jackson will also be used as a receiver often. Still, Lynch caught only 18 passes in 13 games as a rookie. We suspect he'll end up on the lower end of Brown's projection. May. 30 - 3:55 p.m. ET

Marshawn Lynch - RB - Bills

Bills offensive coordinator Turk Schonert reiterated that he anticipates Marshawn Lynch "being in on third down a lot more" this season.
"Anthony Thomas handled more of the third down role in the beginning of (last) season because we didn't want to throw too much at (Lynch)," Schonert said. "He's had a year, he understands the protections now and I think this year he'll be an integral part of our third down package." Thomas was cut in the offseason and Lynch is expected to be a true every-down back. Jul. 3 - 4:53 p.m. ET
