| Matt Leinart - QB - Cardinals Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt wouldn't rule out using Kurt Warner in a specialist's role again this season. "I wouldn't anticipate it," Whisenhunt said, "but I wouldn't rule it out." Before Matt Leinart's fractured collarbone last season, Warner had emerged as the team's designated no-huddle quarterback. Though Whisenhunt has backed Leinart as the starter, Warner claims he's been told it's a competition. Preseason action should give us a better read on the situation, but the specialist's role would kill both quarterbacks' potential starting value. Jul. 26 Source: Arizona Republic |
