Default Michael Turner Fantasy 2007

In my opinion....

If this guy becomes a starter somewhere else, look for the same type of results/stats that Chester Taylor put up for the Vikings after coming over from Baltimore last season..... HM

Chargers GM: Plenty of interest in Turner
Michael Turner - RB - SD - Mar. 30 - 10:03 a.m. ET
Chargers GM A.J. Smith admits that there was a lot of activity surrounding Michael Turner at the recent Owners' Meetings.
Smith seems more willing to part with Turner for draft picks than he was originally. Green Bay and Buffalo appear to be the two most interested teams.

RB Turner lines up visit with Tennessee
Michael Turner - RB - SD - Apr. 2 - 1:46 p.m. ET
Chargers restricted free agent Michael Turner will visit the Titans on Monday, according to NFL Network's Adam Schefter.
The Titans can't be set on starting LenDale White. They may consider signing Turner to an offer sheet because their first-rounder (No. 19) isn't especially high. He'd also cost a third-round pick as compensation.

Restricted free agent Turner visits the Bills
Michael Turner - RB - SD - Apr. 5 - 12:44 p.m. ET
Michael Turner is in Buffalo visiting the Bills Thursday.
It's looking more and more that A.J. Smith is interested in dealing Turner for the right price. He would be a perfect fit in Buffalo's power running attack. That said, it seems unlikely Buffalo would send a first-round pick for Turner.

Michael Turner - RB - Chargers

Bills owner Ralph Wilson dispatched his private plane to get Michael Turner to Buffalo after Turner was having flight troubles in Tennessee.
It sounds like the Bills are really in this despite being in good position to draft a tailback somewhere on the first day. However, ESPN's John Clayton reports San Diego won't take less than a first-rounder for Turner. Apr. 5 - 8:17 p.m. ET

Turner-to-Bills trade unlikely before draft
Michael Turner - RB - SD - Apr. 18 - 1:14 p.m. ET
Bills GM Marv Levy admitted Wednesday that his team is unlikely to complete a trade for Michael Turner before the draft.
Most deals can wait until draft day, when teams feel urgency to upgrade their rosters. Turner would be a perfect fit in Buffalo's powered-up running game, so the possibility of a deal happening next weekend remains.

Michael Turner - RB - Chargers

The Chargers are reportedly prepared to trade Michael Turner after Turner agreed to a new contract with an undisclosed team.
The unnamed team reportedly offered San Diego its first-round pick. The Titans, Bills, and Packers were among the most likely suitors in recent months. Turner's agent Bus Cook says the trade was news to him. Apr. 27 - 4:28 p.m. ET

Michael Turner will remain a Charger in 2007
Michael Turner - RB - SD - Apr. 30 - 2:33 p.m. ET
The Chargers have informed teams around the NFL that Michael Turner is off limits in trade conversations.
"There’s been a lot of activity concerning Michael over the last several months and continued all the way through the draft," GM A.J. Smith said. "But Norv Turner and I...made the decision that our football team is built for 2007 and Michael Turner will be a part of it." Dynasty owners will have to wait until 2008, when Turner is scheduled for unrestricted free agency.

Really sad news that this guy who's just waiting to bust out has to sit because he's playing behind arguably the best RB in the league in LT......

Buffalo could have given their first round pick and got him for sure.

Insteas they use their first-round pick for.......... a runner.
