Default Randy McMichael Fantasy 2007

Dolphins put tight end McMichael on trade block
Randy McMichael - TE - MIA - Mar. 3 - 11:46 a.m. ET
A source told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel that Miami has placed Randy McMichael, who caught 62 passes in 2006, on the trade block.
Miami is believed to be seeking a third-round pick in exchange for McMike, which is interesting considering new coach Cam Cameron's history with pass-catching tight ends in San Diego. But McMichael has a history of off-field troubles and is due $4 million in 2007 earnings, including a $3 million roster bonus and $1 million base salary.Mar. 3 - 11:46 a.m. ET

Reports: McMichael to be released by Dolphins
Randy McMichael - TE - MIA - Mar. 5 - 3:47 p.m. ET
Profootballtalk.com reports that Randy McMichael will be released before a contract option comes up Wednesday.
The South Florida Sun-Sentinel later confirmed that McMichael will be cut Monday. While his stats look solid, McMike has struggled to catch the ball the last few years and isn't known as a great blocker. He'd still generate considerable interest in a free agent market highlighted by Daniel Graham and Jerramy Stevens.Mar. 5 - 3:47 p.m. ET
