Bills K Rian Lindell had three field goals and one PAT against Miami. Lindell had a good game Sunday and should be used as a No. 2 kicker or if your starter is on a bye next week against the Jets. |

Bills PK Rian Lindell, who has 15 points this season and 590 for his career, has passed David Treadwell (587) for 102nd place on the NFL's all-time scoring list. Next up is Martin Gramatica at 592. Lindell is a good option at kicker when your starter is on a bye. The Bills offense is not potent enough to consider him a No. 1 kicker, but he is accurate and successful. |

Rian Lindell scored five points off a FG and two PAT attempts in Week 4 vs. Minnesota. Lindell would have had more, but he missed a FG. Consider Lindell a viable option in most leagues for Week 5 at Chicago. The Bills may be held to several FGs in the game. |

Bills PK Rian Lindell got within six field goals again of tying Steve Christie's club record of 17 field goals in a row to open the 1994 season. Lindell, who has made 11 in a row three times in his career, was given a tall order last Sunday, kicking into a stiff wind from 44 yards. He was short and wide to the right. He later connected from 28 yards making him 7 of 8 for the season. Counting last season, this preseason (when he was also perfect), and this year's hot start, Lindell has converted 42 of his last 49 field goals. Lindell has certainly been a consistent kicker and that has translated into a weekly viable Fantasy option. The Bills play the Bears in Week 5 and you can look at that from two perspectives. The Bears defense, which is one of the league's best, will keep the Bills off the board making Lindell a risky Fantasy start. Or they will only keep the Bills out of the endzone and Lindell will get plenty of chances to kick field goals. Either way you slice it, unless you are required to carry two kickers, you are not going to bench Lindell just because his team is facing a potent defense. It's not like his weekly matchup value is held in the same regard as an offensive skill player. |
