Default Santana Moss

Moss had two receptions for 46 yards and he also contributed
three carries for 28 yards in Week 1 against the Minnesota
Vikings.

Moss can do it through the air and on the ground and is a
solid contributor in Fantasy leagues for Week 2 at Dallas.

Redskins WRs Santana Moss and Brandon Lloyd and TE Chris
Cooley vs. Cowboys secondary is a matchup to watch this
weekend. Moss ignited Washington's dormant offense with his
two dramatic long touchdown catches to stun the Cowboys in
the closing minutes in Week 2 in Texas Stadium last year.
Moss had seven catches for 232 yards in the two games with
Dallas. Lloyd had 142 yards and two TDs on just four catches
against the Cowboys as a 49er last season. Cooley had six
catches for 71 yards and three scores in the December rout
of Dallas. Only Moss did much in Washington's opener Monday,
but the Cowboys will surely pay close attention to all
three.

Moss is a must-start wideout in all leagues on a regular
basis, regardless of the matchup. You drafted him as your
No. 1 or 2 receiver for a reason. Even against very good
defenses, Moss can score for your Fantasy team by catching
one deep ball. The Redskins figure to be coming from behind
again, so Moss will be a key part of their offense in Week
2.

Moss had four receptions for 69 yards in Week 2 at Dallas
and he had one carry for 19 yards. Most of his statistical
output came in the final quarter with the Redskins trying to
get back into the game.

Fantasy owners don't much care when the statistics come, as
long as they do. He should have another decent showing in
Week 3 at Houston.

Redskins WR Santana Moss (hip) was removed from the injury
report on Thursday as he made it back to the practice field
after missing practice on Wednesday.

It appears safe to insert Moss back into your lineup and
consider starting him Week 3 at Houston.

Redskins WR Santana Moss hauled in six catches for 50 yards
in the Redskins 31-15 win over the Texans in Week 3. He also
had one carry for two yards.

As QB Mark Brunell gets more comfortable with Al Saunders'
offense, Moss' stats will continue to improve. Week 4 pits
the Redskins against the Jaguars making Moss a No. 2 Fantasy
WR option.

Santana Moss had four receptions for 138 yards in Week 4
against the Jaguars. Three of the receptions were for
touchdowns, including the 68-yard game-winning score in
overtime.

Moss was amazing in Week 4, perhaps the most dominant of any
player in Fantasy Football. He will look to carry over the
momentum in Week 5 at N.Y. Giants. Consider using him as a
No. 2 receiver in all leagues.

WR Santana Moss, averaging 19.2 yards per catch, has enjoyed
playing against the Giants in his career. In three games
against New York, he has 19 catches for 315 yards and six
touchdowns. "Moss is the silent assassin," Redskins fullback
Mike Sellers said. "He just puts in the work, doesn't say
nothing. Even if he burns you, he won't talk trash to you.
He'll just walk back to the huddle and run the next play.
That's a true professional."

After catching four passes for 138 yards and three
touchdowns against the Jaguars in Week 4, consider Moss an
excellent start this week.

Redskins WR Santana Moss caught three passes for 10 yards in
Week 5 at the N.Y. Giants.

The passing game never really got going in this game so Moss
didn't get a chance to have an impact after having such a
big game in Week 4. Consider Moss a good start in any
format, however, for Week 6 vs. Tennessee.

Redskins WR Santana Moss pulled a hamstring muscle in the
fourth quarter Sunday at Indianapolis and is not expected to
return. Moss had three catches for 20 yards and no
touchdowns before leaving.

The bye week coming up will give Moss another week to heal
and get ready for Dallas in Week 9. Keep an eye out for
injury updates concerning Moss as to the severity of his
injury.

Redskins WR Santana Moss (hamstring) is listed as
questionable for Week 9 vs. Dallas.

Moss is very skeptical that he will be ready to play against
the Cowboys on Sunday. Owners of Moss should monitor his
situation before starting him vs. Dallas in Week 9. When
healthy, he's capable of exploding for a huge game but is a
safe bet for around 70 yards.

Redskins receiver Santana Moss missed his sixth consecutive
practice Friday with an injured left hamstring and isn't
expected to play against the Dallas Cowboys. Asked whether
he'd ruled out Moss for Sunday's game, Redskins coach Joe
Gibbs said: "Yeah. Looks more and more like it will be hard
to have him go." Moss was injured during Washington's last
game, a 36-22 loss at Indianapolis on Oct. 22, and hasn't
practiced since. "You're going to miss Santana. We all know
that. We have to have other guys step up," Gibbs said. "It's
why we have the guys we do at that position. Hopefully that
will happen."

Moss was dressed in sweats Friday and told reporters:
"Looking at me now will tell you what's going on. I feel
pretty good, but at the same time, you see how I'm dressed,"
Moss said. "How can you go out there and do something when
you haven't been out here putting in the work? ... No reason
to be sugarcoating nothing. It's evident what's going on."
Looks like he'll miss Week 9. Brandon Lloyd and Antwaan
Randle El will play in his place, but expect Chris Cooley to
get more touches with him missing. Keep Santana Moss benched
in Week 9.

S. Moss questionable, misses workout
Santana Moss - WR - WAS - Nov. 8 - 6:37 p.m. ET
Santana Moss (questionable, hamstring) missed at least a portion of practice Wednesday, according to the NFL's official injury report.
Moss has been classified as "day-to-day" by Washington's coaching and medical staff. He'll most likely need to practice this week to play Sunday.Nov. 8 - 6:37 p.m. ET

Santana Moss upgraded to probable
Santana Moss - WR - WAS - Nov. 10 - 2:26 p.m. ET
WR Santana Moss practiced Friday and was upgraded to probable on the injury report.
Moss will reportedly be run through a series of "fitness tests" prior to kickoff and said he's not sure he'll be able to resume his role as the No. 1 receiver quite yet. You'll want to check his status Sunday morning, but for now it sounds like he'll play.Nov. 10 - 2:26 p.m. ET

Santana Moss downgraded to doubtful
Santana Moss - WR - WAS - Nov. 17 - 4:32 p.m. ET
Santana Moss (hamstring) was downgraded to doubtful for Week 11 after missing practice for the third straight day Friday.
'Skins coach Joe Gibbs says Moss will be a game-time decision, but it would be quite a surprise if Moss is in pads on Sunday. Brandon Lloyd, Antwaan Randle El, and James Thrash are Washington's only other healthy wideouts. Jason Campbell's debut could be a rough one.Nov. 17 - 4:32 p.m. ET

Santana Moss declares himself out
Santana Moss - WR - WAS - Nov. 18 - 9:25 a.m. ET
The Washington Post reports Santana Moss will not play Sunday.
Officially listed as doubtful with a hamstring injury, Moss has declared himself out for Sunday. Moss says he "couldn't do anything" in practice and even though Redskins coach Joe Gibbs said he'd be a game-time decision, Santana will not be in pads. Jason Campbell will make his pro debut without Washington's two best offensive weapons.Nov. 18 - 9:25 a.m. ET

Santana Moss - WR - WAS - Nov. 24 - 5:53 p.m. ET
Santana Moss (hamstring) was upgraded to probable for Week 12 after practicing without restrictions for the second straight day Friday.
He is scheduled to play early Sunday after making "considerable progress." Carolina got back Ken Lucas on Friday, but Moss' big-play ability is tough to sit. Consider using Santana as a WR3 or a flex against the Panthers. We think Jason Campbell is a plus for Moss' cause.Nov. 24 - 5:53 p.m. ET
