	Terrell Owens was surprisingly catching passes at Dallas' minicamp Saturday. Even more surprising - no drops. Owens wasn't scheduled to catch passes until July, but probably was tired of the lack of attention. His return to full health bodes well for a big season in Dallas if he can stay active for 16 games. T.O. won't play in Week 17 against the Redskins and will likely be replaced by Sam Hurd in the starting lineup. Patrick Crayton figures to start opposite Hurd, but will likely be replaced by Terry Glenn after a few series. Dec. 26 - 4:30 p.m. ET

Terrell Owens is believed to be healing from his high ankle sprain as quickly as the Cowboys originally hoped. Owens is out of his protective boot.

T.O. was able to put on his left shoe Wednesday for the first time since suffering the injury on December 22. "I thought he was ready to go today the way he was talking," backup receiver Sam Hurd said. "He was excited." Jan. 2

Cowboys coach Wade Phillips says Terrell Owens (ankle) won't begin practicing until next Wednesday at the earliest.
Owens is out of his walking boot and making rapid progress, but won't be rushed back into practice with the Cowboys on a bye. "I think pushing off is the key thing," Phillips said. "I don’t have any doubt about (his toughness), but we’ll have to be careful. We’d like to have him for more than one game too, so you’ve got to be careful there." Jan. 2 - 8:05 p.m. ET

	A high-ranking Cowboys official told ESPN.com that he'd be "shocked" if Terrell Owens didn't play Sunday. No surprise, but its always good to hear from the team, even if they won't go on record. The Cowboys expect Owens at "80%", which would leave him roughly 60% better than Patrick Crayton and 200% better than the rest of the Dallas receivers. Source: ESPN.com

	Terrell Owens (high ankle sprain) ran routes and caught passes in his return to Cowboys practice Thursday. Despite media reports and Cowboys coach Wade Phillips saying Owens wasn't practicing the past two days, all the players said he was. T.O. showed no limp on Thursday, but the team may have told him not to speak with reporters. "You're not going to get anything out of me," he said when approached.

	Terrell Owens reportedly looked improved at practice Friday, appearing to do all work without restrictions. He was with the first team, and did some drills where he went up for the ball. 	ESPN's Ed Werder reports Terrell Owens (high ankle sprain) "will play and contribute" Sunday against the Giants. Owens was never truly in danger of sitting out the game despite the Cowboys' efforts to make it seem that way. Werder says T.O.'s teammates claim he's exhibited explosiveness in practice. LB Antonio Pierce says the Giants will try to make Owens push off on the ankle more than he would normally.
