Default What Do You Do With 4 Starting Running Backs???

In my 100$ league i guess i drafted too well....and now i'm stuck with a great problem to have....4 running backs who are considered must starts this week

I have Stephen Jackson against the 49ers
Frank Gore against the Rams
Jamal Lewis against Oakland
And Tatum Bell against KC

All have great matchups

I'm thinking about going with Stephen Jackson and Frank Gore because i think Baltimore will crush Oakland so they might take Lewis out as a precautionary matter..and i think Mike Bell could take a few from Tatum, even with a broken finger

However, I want your opinions

Thanks

Jackson is pretty much a "must start" every week. St. Louis is commited to the run and their defense looks solid. The fact that he didn't see the end zone last week is odd, but not likely to happen again.

This week: I'd go Jackson and Gore.

Default Re: What Do You Do With 4 Starting Running Backs???

RE: Lewis...he's very tempting also this week...got to believe Baltimore will pound Oakland (which usually means a lot of running to run clock down), but the threat here is that they may pull him to rest him later in the game due to his hip.

RE: 4 RBs - What do I do?

You sit back an enjoy the extreme luxury of being able to play the best matchups each and every week and having your bye weeks well taken care of!

RBs are by far the most valuable commodity in fantasy ball. Don't trade 'em unless you're offered a king's ransom and can DRAMATICALLY improve your roster in another area. WRs (i.e., 2nd and 3rd tier WRs) are a dime a dozen and will appear on the waiver wire (either via a bad hasty drop, a bad drop or a suddenly emerging star) and often these guys can equal the points produced by the upper tier WRs on certain weeks.

And QBs (depending on your league's scoring system) are very over rated. Unless you have Peyton Manning during a 40-TD season (which would have cost you a first round or early second round RB) you are always better drafting RBs with your first two picks, perhaps even three of your first four picks.

something to also consider

once your BYE weeks are taken care of - see about moving 1 of these RBs - someone will be DYING for one of them later

i say the FIRST chance you have to get something of value for Lewis - DO IT
