Easy beginners question about odds.

Hi friends.

I've been doing betting for about 1year now, but this is the first time I found your forum. I usually bet only nhl games coz that is the league I follow the most and from which I keep book.

The question is about your odds. Here in Finland we play with decimals and you play with these -155/+200 odds. This is something I have now clue and I would appriciate if someone could hit me with a link or information about odds you're using. These forums seems to be best place for nhl betting tips and conversation so it would help me alot if I could understand odds you're using.

Shack i had same problem, but i kind of understand it now like +245 would be 2.45 and -130 would be 1.7 don't know any links sorry

Thanks for your answer. I found some information from wikipedia, but if it goes like you told then it's quite plain simple.

Hope you won't get annoyed by my stupid questions, here comes another.

705pm, CAR -115 (G) > PIT, 115/100
705pm, ANA -105 (G) > COL, 105/100
835pm, DAL -180 (G) > BOS, 180/100
1005pm, SJS +100 (G) > VAN, 100/100

So does this mean that Pacman is going to play win for Car, Ana, Dal and Sjs and what does 115/100 etc. stand at the end of each line.

If you go to Sportsbook - TheGreek Sports Book - Sports Betting, Online Casino, Online Poker, Online Sportsbook and us the bet lines, you do not need to register and go into the hockey link you can change it to american and decimal.

That is what I getrfrom it remember in school the allaigator is eating the bigger number.

Thanks Bookie. I've found many betting sites which have this kind of odd changer. The reason I'm asking is that I wan't to understand these tips these guys are giving at this board.
