7:30P @ Staples Center in L.A.
Nashville @ Kings -110 Both ways Monday Night the Kings got their heads handed to them 5-0 by the Avs in a game that was every bit as close as the final score indicated. The Kings have played like shit lately getting run off the ice all too often. Tuesday their lackluster play cost HC Andy Murray his job - only because it is easier to fire a coach than the players Since Murray has been let go there has been a LOT of bickering and not so nice comments in the local papers from everyone drawing a paycheck from the Kings The team has 12 games to get things going or miss the playoffs and if they do miss the playoffs it will not be a pretty scene on the corner of Figueroa/11th in downtown L.A. One of the BEST angles/trends in all of sports is to play ON a team when their coach is fired and his successor is brought in - as long as it is the one who will be with the team for the rest of the season and not the interim one for a game or two. The Kings have brought on John Torchetti to coach the rest of the season and this is the Kings' first game since firing Murray. The team has been off since Monday while the Preds allegedly played last night - getting smoke at The Pond by the Ducks I have ZERO DOUBT tonite we get THE VERY BEST EFFORT from the Kings all season. Not only that but Alexander Frolov will be returning from injury tonite and give the Kings a much needed boost. In addition the Kings have had a TON of success against the Preds in L.A. and I see NO reason why things will change tonite i lean somewhat to U6 +105 in this one but that is not my best play here L.A. Kings -110 is the VERY VERY VERY strong play here one that WILL cash when the game ends |
