first of all i would like to congratulate all the teams that advances to the second round...a couple blowouts (Sabres, Devils, Avs, Sharks, Sens) and a few well played series' that were hard fought and a shame one team had to lose (Habs, Flames, Red Wings). However, we are now on to round 2...and some very interesting series we have. I know its been said before but I will just reiterate that every away or dog team won in the West...amazing. x = 1 unit.
Sabres +197 x I had the opportunity to watch this team in every game of round 1. i was totally mezmorized by their team chemistry and their ability to move and anticipate the puck. I know the Sens defense is much more talented and alot faster then that of the Flyers, but I think they will figure out a way to beat the heavily favored Sens...without a doubt this should be one hell of a series. It is very possible that the Sens will win this series, but just an incredible price for a team that plays as well as the Sabres. I think the Sabres win this in 7 games. Ducks -123 x Just a fantastic price for a team that just eliminated the, what I thought would be Cup champion, defensive minded Flames. I know the Avs are playing well but in my opinion it was more about Turco losing than the Avs winning in that series. I have been in absolute love with the Ducks heart and tenasity since the olympic break. They are getting unreal goaltending and Neidermeyer is playing the best hockey of his life and fueling the Ducks emotions with fire. I think they win this series rather easily to be honest in either 5 or 6 games. Canes +170 x This is a series that I describe as the unstoppable force meets the imovable object. The scoring potential by the Canes rich talented forwards is scarey. It seems like whenever they NEED a goal they are able to switch their team play to a different level. I have watched and followed many games in which this team was involved this year and seldom remember thinking the effort was lackluster. Then you have the Devils and 3 of the best players in the league. Elias, Gionta, and, of course, Brodure. The Devils recieved a "free pass" in the first round, playing a Jagrless Rangers club. I dont think Jagr wuld have made a difference in the outcome but they definately would not have gotten swept. Devils are in for a suprise and a letdown, despite their 15 game winning streak, they will not be able to contend with the speed and power skating the Canes will bring, and I see Carolina taking this series in 6 games. (What a price for the Canes, win or lose, +170???) Oilers +183 x In my eyes these two clubs are somewhat identicle. Honestly, sometimes this year, Jerseys aside, I would not have been able to tell the difference between the style in which both clubs play. I know Thorton will have to be neutralized in order for the Oilers to win the series, but in my view both teams ore relatively well matched. Therefore, in a Conference which produced 4 underdog winners in round 1, I will choose the team which beat the better team (Red Wings) for this unbelievable steal of a price. I say the Oilers win this series, in what I see as the most emotional, action packed, fight filled, series of the second round, in 7 very exciting games!! I wish everyone luck in the second round, I just see so much value in these picks, even a split will produce a profit. I am keeping my bets to only one unit per series, but I believe there will be a profit in this x rated second round of picks. In no way am I trying to hurt anyones feelings that root for the teams in which I picked against...I know that emotions of not only the players, but us fans as well are at a super hightened level when playing for hockey's most precious of prizes...The Stanley Cup!! If your team is still alive, enjoy and embrace it!! Root your heart out and i hope you win the Cup, as there is no better sport in the world this time of year. Playoff hockey is truely a treasure, and I hope your team wins the ultimate prize.... |

Lets do it, Bigshot!!! I followed all four plays- like you said, if we split 'em, we're still + units. 3 outta 4 would be gravy

agree on the sabres - although not sure that is a good thing since the sabres are the ONE team i simply can't get a handle on
slight disagreement on the Ducks - like the Avs here no real opinion on SJ/EDm although NO WAY i lay it BIG TIME DISAGREE on the Canes, though. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE the Devils here - and i don't see this one being close. NO WAY it goes 7 and i think it could go 5 - if that. WILL NOT be playing this series since i have Devils +450 to go to the Cup - and I am NOT hedging it at all since there is a ZERO PERCENT chance of the Devils losing this series |

Truely a good day with Canes a miracle win and Sabres out shot and for the most part out played. Sabres received unreal goaltending and avoided every close play to steal this game. Edmonton loses another 1 goal game but I would gladly trade that series for 3 series winners.
The goal over the next couple games for the Ducks, Canes, and Sabres, is to get 1 of the next 2, and all 3 will have a 3-1 advantage, which is very difficult to come back from. All in all I am very pleased with the results thus far, and I will be the first to admit, half these wins were very fortuinate!! As far as Edmonton is concerned, they MUST win both games at home to have a chance in the series!! Ducks up 2-0 Canes up 2-0 Sabres up 2-0 Oilers down 2-0 More fun tomorrow night as Anaheim is the only game on the card. Hopefully they can get the win and and go up 3-0 in that series!! |

Ahhhhh, that is a masterpeice, great selection. Sorry you felt melancoly about the peice. May I recommend "Car Wash Angles" by Vivid. It is an extrodinary tale of 10 lovely lesbians washing cars with their tits and asses. The story line is filled with twists and turns and love and passion, even girl on girl and ass to mouth scenes were enjoyed by all. It is a joy and had me watching again and again...3 minutes at a time. I kept coming back for more. Enjoy!!

Just so you are aware of this, Since we are ahead in 3 series by a 2-0 lead, today would be a good time to hedge the best getting guarenteed money. I am not going to but just wanted to let investors know of the option. I am letting it ride though believing we will win all 3 series we are ahead in 2-0. Even if one loses we will still make money, just wanted ppl to look at all options!! |
