The Bruins made some nice changes this offseason acquiring Chara & Savard. They also kept Bergeron, Boyes, Murray and their young goalies. the Panthers let their only star walk as they let Luongo go....This should be just what the Bruins need, A easy victory to start the season.

Devils +110...................100/110

The poor defending champion Hurricanes:

Game 1 they face the team they beat to get to the finals and Ryan Miller saves 32 shots (3 in the shootout) and they lose at home in a shootout. Tonight they get the man who may be the best goalie ever in the NHL in Brodeur....I look for more of the same as the Canes have trouble putting the puck in the net and their defense gives up a few. The Devils win.

Blue Jackets -120...........60/50

I am betting this purely because the line tells me to bet the Canucks and bet them big. I realize the Jackets are at home, the Canucks played last night, BUT these are still the Columbus Blue Jackets, Should they be favored over anyone? I'll take a shot and hopefully will cash this ticket
