Lab-
I like most of your plays and have to give you tip of the hat for the real nice streak you've been on recently. I played the Caps last nite because of you, even tho they are not a good road team. Thank Kolzig that the game wasn't 4-1 Avs after the first period. @0 SOG in 1st per. For some teams that's a whole gaME.
Haver to disagree with you on Philly and Bost. tonite. I agree with Melrose- the Flyers were caught asleep at the switch. They are simply not built for the new NHL. Lots of big strong guys who can't keep up with all the speed in league now and get lots of penalties because of it. Buffalo exposed them last week. Boaston is just twrrible. 29 GA in 7 games, only scoring 2 gpg.
Love the Sabres tonite. Going for the record, don't believe they'll be denied by Isles.

goldie, respect your opinion.......especially with flyers not being built for NHL....

That being said, they still have the best player in the world, and a few other stars, and some young guns.Atl had a tough game, and will be tired on the road......As for Boston, watch out here,as I see a 5-4 game.Montreal is worse than you think and Bruins are better.Samsonov demoted to 4th line, will absolutely divide the dressing room already, and Carbo will have a tough 1st year...I look for a shootout here

Lab-
posting this late, don't know if you'll see it. Congrats on another fine nite on Thursday. Iwas with you on Ott over and Ott pux line, as well as Buff pux line. Also had Buff money line. I am wondering-this is a philosophical question I guess, but with real money implications: You had 2 games on Thurs you obviously loved, the Ottawa game with that side to win big and also cover the over, and Buffalo to win easily over the Isles. Both won handily, as they say at the track. Barry Melrose, in his report on ESPN, said he saw the Buffalo game and it was like men playing boys. Score was only 3-0, but he said Isles never had a sniff at a goal. In the other game we both kniow the only way Toronto wins is if Ottawa just doesn't show up. So my question is, why risk money on lesser games and take the chance of diluting winnings.
I see your point about Atl vs Philly, but obviously in a shootout that game could have gone either way. The same logic applied to the Carolina game would have meant a play on Tampa, which won. Boston lost again, they don't seem to be able to score more than 2 goals right now. Have to give you credit for the Phoeniz oick-they have been bad until tonight. But those four game were split. Think what you would have done to put the money wagered there on the two games you really loved, Ottawa and Buffalo.
Just wondering. No criticism intended.
