MON -115....................really like MON here at a short number. Aubin will be in net for TOR tomorrow as Raycroft is nursing a sore hamstring and from all accounts they will give him the day off coupled with the upcoming days off to rest it. Aubin has a nice 4.10 GAA and a .850 SV% so far this season and looked every bit of those numbers vs. BOS in relief. They will also be without Sundin, as well. MON has been playing solid hockey of late going 4-1-1 on the road to start the season. TOR's recent wins have been behind solid goaltending as they are giving up a ton of shots....they have given up 178 SOG IN THEIR L5 games.....not a recipe for success with Aubin in net. Road team has won both games so far in SO's. Mon should be in a nice spot and focused as this is the first game of a 4 game roadie.
WAS/NYR Over6 1/2..................both these teams have gone over in 4 of L5 games apiece, and WAS one under wasn't for a lack of giving up goals (5-0 Loss to CAR) as they have coughed up 18 regulation goals in L5. NYR seem to be hitting their stride offensively. First game saw NYR win 5-2. Look for a 5-3/5-4 type affair tonight. GL to everyone! |
