Alrighty fellas, Now's the time. We all know who's for which teams, except for Jago cuz sometimes he seems to switch a lot during the series...can never make up his mind. Just kiddin' man. But seriously, I'm going Buffalo at home tonight! I don't think they lose the first one at home. Finally Ottawa's gonna see a real team in a series for once. Emery's gonna have a long night. Well talk is cheap, it's time for these teams to vindicate or humiliate us in our predictions. For the record Redstorm I'm not making a pick in the WCF but I do think Anaheim will come away with a least a split in Detroit. It's regarding Buffalo that I've done a turn around on. I'd rather Buffalo win, but I believe Ottawa is the better team and will take the series in 6 games. If it doesn't work out I'll fall back on my orginal prediction of Buffalo-Detroit

Fair enough Jag! I understand...I did that in the last series...I thought the sharks were the better team, but I really wanted Detroit.


I took Buffalo 3 uni's for g1 and 2 uni's for the series. I'm hoping they get it done in 6 but will know more after tonights play.

Tough loss, but Buffalo was atrocious on special teams. As bad as they looked on the power play they looked even worse shorthanded. I did think Buffalo was the better team 5 on 5, but going 0-5 on the power play, giving up a shorthanded goal, and allowing Ottawa to score twice on their PP was way too much to overcome. As crazy as it sounds I like Buffalo to bounce back and win game two. If not go ahead and pencil in Ottawa for the Stanley Cup Finals.

True, but so far it hasn't hurt them in the playoffs. After losing game two against Pittsburgh and New Jersey they won every single game after that. This game is toss-up for me. I'm sure most people will be all over Buffalo expecting them to win game two, but I'm going to tread carefully irregardless of Ottawa's record in game twos are a game one win.

I believe so as well, but just because Buffalo has to win doesn't mean they'll necessarily win. Tough game for me, can Buffalo fix their special teams in two days. We'll see, I think they will but I'm not confident.
